Getting Started (for artists)

It only takes a few minutes to set up your free Artist profile on StoryAmp. Follow a standard sign-up, confirmation, and profile set-up, and then you can start building Dispatches (our word for press releases) for your performances and releases to reach the press. Don't worry about payment since we have a free account that doesn't lock you into any payment. If you want premium features you can choose to add them later.

Here are the steps:

• Click "Artist Sign Up"
• Choose a User Name and Password
• Look for a confirmation email and click the confirmation link
• Click on "Sign In"
• Enter your Artist name (use our search function to ensure that nobody else tries to link to your Artist name)
• Create your Profile including:
  • Biography
  • Photo or Video
  • Genres (to help Journalists find you)
  • Website Links
• Click Submit

Now that you have created your Profile, you can create your first Dispatch to get the word out to the press about an upcoming concert or release.
